Minari (Movie Review)


Minari, the latest A24 release from Writer/director Lee Isaac Chung, follows the semiautobiographical story of a Korean family setting down roots in early '80s Arkansas, is one of the sleeper best films of the year, so I'm here to review it.

More than just a beautifully made movie, it feels like a real coming out party for star Steven Yeun, an actor who has gone underrated for far too long. He's got a real chance at the Best Actor Academy Award this year, but this movie is about more than Oscar Buzz.
